2.2.0 released

We are happy to announce that FreeRDP 2.2.0 is released.

Version 2.2.0 fixes a security issue (CVE-2020-15103) identified by Sunglin and HuanGMz of the Knownsec 404 security team and pangzi of pwnzen. We will publish the corresponding security advisory on our GitHub security advisories page.

In addition to the fixed security issues, this release also contains important fixes for issues #6370, #6298 and #6299 which caused grave problems when connecting to Windows 7 and with remote applications respectively.

As usual the tar archive can be found on https://pub.freerdp.com/releases/ and here is the link to the GitHub release page .

Since 2.1.2 there have been around 40 commits, from six individual contributors. Thank you all for your support!.

Besides the mentioned fixes there are also some stability and other improvements. If you are interested in the changes since 2.1.2 have a look at the Changelog respectively the GitHub milestone or use git log for a detailed list.
